Based on the Bible verses Hebrews 1:1-2 and with reference to the Baha'i scriptures the Kitab-i-Aqdas and Kitab-i-Iqan, the Temple of the Tao of Christ (TTC) holds the position that God has spoken to mankind in the past through various religions, but that God's most complete revelation is found in Christ Jesus.

With the Christian Bible being proven to be accurate and dependable over and over by modern science and medicine, archaeology, geography, fulfilled prophecies and the application of its principles in the lives of believers, we accept it as the most authoritative of the religious scriptures and the lynchpin of our faith. With the Taoist book, the Tao Te Ching, being the most logical and accurate concerning the nature of life and the universe and pointing towards the Tao as the Logos/Word, Who became incarnate as Christ, it is also accepted as an authoritative text by the TTC.

The Secret Sayings of Ye Su, an ancient book from 6 AD China from a time when Christianity was preached in China from a Zen Buddhist (Buddhism mixed with Taoism) and Taoist perspective, eventually fusing to create the Taoist Christian religion jing jiao - the Religion of Light - before it was wiped out by Islam, is another of our accepted texts. Christ the Eternal Tao explains how the coming of Jesus and His pre-existence as the Word/the Way was foreshadowed in the Tao Te Ching. These holy books, and to a lesser extent, the Kitab-i-Aqdas and Kitab-i-Iqan and text of The Science of Getting Rich (The Secret) read through the lens of the preceding holy books, constitute our belief system as outlined in our 11 Statements of Belief and 16 Tablets.

When examined through the eyes of other religions, God's plan and nature as revealed in the Bible become much clearer, and His requirements for us become less of a burden as we seek to submit ourselves to Him and liberate this world in Christ.
